The good news just keeps coming recently!
We have now been informed that we have been awarded a grant from the Arts Council, Grant for the Arts scheme!
We have been so fortunate to receive the grants, pledges and donations that we have already got, but this really is a HUGE boost to funds, morale and probably sleep reserves too!
Many thanks from our whole team to Arts Council England!
Thanks also to the Barnstorm team who put so much effort into our application - it was a beast of a task!! It would be shocking to look at the hours put in by so many people, but it's all worth it in the end!
We were all at sea, but now have the wind in our sails and are full steam ahead towards July 2013!
Blogging from Christina Hall (Intern) on behalf of Bradford Barnstorm, a community partnership set up to explore future creative use of Bradford on Avon’s amazing Tithe Barn. The first project, Benjamin Britten's Noye’s Fludde (Noah’s Flood), will take place there in July 2013. I will be posting updates from meetings, how the planning and pre-production is going, fundraising progress and all the way to the performance days next July.
