I can SEW a rainbow!

Listen up! This is the first leaked picture of some of the design elements for our production of Noye's Fludde from ace designer Tom Paris!

The idea is that we make a huge community rainbow made out of donated squares of fabric. What we really need is to recruit a small team of Bradford on Avon volunteers to manage the collection of materials and the creation of the rainbow itself.

We also need EVERYONE to chip in! We are seeking at least 700, yes, SEVEN HUNDRED squares of fabric of all colours and patterns 15cmx15cm to be stitched into the rainbow in a public sewing session vbetween 28 May to 31 May. Contact info@bradfordbarnstorm.org.uk if you think you can lend your talents, or just fabric offcuts!!

Also, we are still seeking volunteers for various other exciting roles to assist in the production:

  • Distribution helpers for fliers to various local organisations and addresses from 3 May onwards. (Contact: sarahibbard(at)gmail.com)
  • Stewards on 12 and 13 July during performances. (Contact: emma.cross(at)ukgateway.net)
  • Help for set-up Thursday 4 July and get-out Sunday 14 July. (Contact: courages(at)tiscali.co.uk)
