Wonderful weather to be thinking of a FLUDDE!

With all this miserable weather outside, it seems like thinking about floods/fluddes is very timely!

We had a great meeting on Monday with web designer Rob who will be putting together a site for Barnstorm and the Noye's Fludde project. We had some really good discussion about how it should look and what it should include, and Rob was extremely helpful and patient with those of us less knowledgeable about all things technological.

This website should be the go-to place for anyone seeking information about volunteering, singing in the community choir, attending the performances as a patron and everything in between ... so there's a lot to fit in!

We are also hoping to have the facility to let people sign up to various mailing lists to receive information about the aspects that they are interested in, and well as a comments or feedback page where local people can contribute ideas and responses to the work we are doing and to help us to keep Barnstorm going in the future and do the best we can by the community and for the Tithe Barn.

We also want to have a large links page, to make sure that we link sufficiently to all of the partners in the project and to individuals, groups and companies lending us support or expertise.

The other, and probably most important, section of the site will be dedicated to giving. This project requires a great deal of fundraising and support. We have been chosen to take part in THE BIG GIVE (www.thebiggive.org.uk) and will endeavour to think up other ways of allowing people who are passionate about their town, the heritage of the Tithe Barn and the production of Noye's Fludde to donate. No matter how great or small, every contribution will help us enormously. Watch this space for more news about fundraising as and when it happens.

Eventually there will also be a booking tab to link through to the booking page (via Wiltshire Music Centre) to book seats for the concert performances (July 2013).

All very exciting stuff, we think!
